Revealed during their E3 press conference last night, Bethesda announced the next 3 DLC packs for Fallout 4: Contraptions, Vault-Tec Workshop and Nuka World.

The Contraptions DLC adds more items to be crafted in players settlements, including weapon & armor racks, conveyor belts and elevators. My house in Fallout 4 at the moment is 4 stories and it is a pain to walk up all those stairs. Believe me that I jumped for joy when this came up during their conference. The Contraptions DLC is due out next week, which is pretty neat that its so close.

Next up is the Vault-Tec Workshop, which allows the player to create and maintain their very own vaults. While this adds a host of new options in the crafting menus, I’m more interested in what seemed to be excavating places for vaults to be built which can be seen in the trailer. This could potentially add more areas to explore as opposed to the other crafting DLC’s. Vault-Tec Workshop is out sometime in July.

Lastly, (which coincidentally is also the last piece of DLC that will be released for Fallout 4): Nuka World. This adds the new location of Nuka World to explore, an abandoned theme park now run by raiders. I’m hoping that its more in the vein of Far Harbor DLC in that it adds a variety of quests to complete in this area rather than the smaller Mechanist DLC. Nuka World will release later in August.

And that’s it for the Fallout 4 DLC. As if I didn’t need another excuse to log another 60 hours into that game. Keep a tab on Inside The Box for more E3 updates as they happen.
