Hello readers! We are pleased to inform that the website will be launching as planned this Thursday, May 2nd. A few of the features planned to be introduced will be missing at launch, however, many improvements will be made over the next few months which we didn’t have time to implement for Thursday. We hope all our readers enjoy the simpler new design, which has been slimmed to fit within monitors with a resolution of only 1024px wide.

Our new website also includes a variety of new social features, such as +1 and Like buttons beside every post on the homepage, and +1, Like and Tweet buttons on each article page. We also have +1, Like and Follow buttons for the website on our homepage. We have introduced a wealth of other changes and we hope you’ll like them once you experience the site for the first time on Thursday. Within the next couple of weeks, we will open up comments to non-registered users (guests) which will allow you to comment quickly without creating an account. We do however encourage those without an account to create one for further benefits.

To update our features, we were unfortunately not able to gather enough PC parts to run the feature as of now, however, we will begin our PC BUILD and review feature in late May, running into June and July. Throughout this time period, we will be comparing and reviewing PC components and recommending PC Builds. Throughout the time, we will still feature our usual game reviews, so, don’t worry, they will not suffer as a result of the feature.

We will be running our World of Warcraft feature through next week in addition to our competition in which we will be giving away the COLLECTORS EDITION of Starcraft 2 and the Heart of the Swarm expansion, an expensive bundle of content coming to over £200 value (based on RRP). Stick with us for more on that next week.

Our website is one year old on Thursday. We will be celebrating the occasion with the launch of our new website – but we might even have some cake. I’ve loved the year of reviews, it’s been great. I’d like to give a big thank you to all the companies who supported us with review games and other materials, particularly companies such as Sony, Activision, EA, 2K, Blizzard and NIS America as well as all the others who have sent us review samples. Most of all, we have to thank our readers who regularly visit the site and read our news, reviews and features. You’ve helped make the website happen and without you, we wouldn’t be writing reviews for the newest titles because we wouldn’t be receiving review samples. We hope to continue into the future and hope you’ll continue to visit us. So, thanks to the developers, publishers and readers for their part in making the website a success.
